YG Reflects on Making "My Krazy Life"

R&R sat down with YG recently to discuss the making of My Krazy Life. YG discusses the role that DJ Mustard played in his album and says “they only make hits”, referencing the fact that he didn’t spend too much time recording a song if it wasn’t a hit. YG recorded My Nigga and Who Do You Love in LA but actually recorded most of his tracks in ATL. He also had some major help from Terrace Martin and talks about how Martin brought the “Musical” aspect to his album. Surprisingly, YG actually went against the studio stereotype and didn’t have all of the homies at his sessions. Interesting BTS on how My Krazy Life was really put together. Press Play.
