Kaytranada Puts His Own Spin on BADBADNOTGOOD's 'Kaleidoscope'

BADBADNOTGOOD is a Toronto group known for their experimental production and rework of classic hip-hop cuts. This time, Kaytranada remixes the group’s track “Kaleidoscope’ and adds his signature jazz & hip-hop style to the song – the instrumental is certainly moody, infused with blues, all while taking you for a loop once the beat is heavy and then drastically soft.

Plus, there’s some awesome percussion work towards the end. This won’t be the last time we post something from Kaytranada. He actually produced “Rain” by rapper Mick Jenkins which was a sample of Missy Elliot’s “Rain”. Take a listen to both tracks below, all vibes.
