Solange shares her new long-awaited album, A Seat at the Table — following up 2008’s Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams and 2012’s True EP. The 21-track project is characterized by an array of eclectic features including Lil Wayne, Dev Hynes, Sampha, Kelela, The Dream, Kelly Rowland, BJ The Chicago Kid, and Q-Tip. Solange also shared a digital booklet with over 100 pages of lyrics and powerful images in honor of her project. From start to finish, the album is a beautiful expression of Solange’s experiences as a Black citizen and woman in America, ranging from self-love and resilience to pain and frustration. According to her Twitter, the singer reveals that she’s been working on her new album for over four years. You can stream A Seat at the Table below on Spotify or visit iTunes to support.
