Rising Toronto Crooner Daniel Caesar Shares New Track “Get You” Featuring Kali Uchis

Daniel Caesar, the 21 year old Toronto crooner, joins our favorite Colombian beauty Kali Uchis, in a tender ode to being in love. The single, produced by Caesar’s long-time collaborators Jordan Evans and Matthew Burnett, reminds us all of Caesar’s steady climb to fame as he paves his own unique path through Toronto’s pool of talent.

“Get You” is a slow R&B burner with 90’s vibes There’s a tinge of Maxwell’s vocal warmth and a dash of D’Angelo’s in-between-the-sheets lyricism, a romantic combination that will pacify even the most heavy-hearted. As Caesar gently lulls “Who would’ve thought I’d get you”, he allows us to feel his vulnerability when plunging into the arms of love. Kali Uchis’ angelic harmonies gracefully complete the track, making this an apt duet for the imminent cuffing season ahead.

Bundle up next to that special someone and enjoy this very sweet track below.
