Rapsody Addresses America’s Racial Injustice on “Fire” ft. Moonchild

Talented rapper Rapsody offers a bit of healing in her latest song “Fire”, which samples Moonchild’s “Winter Breeze” track. Over jazzy production, the Jamla records and Roc Nation emcee describes vivid accounts of oppression, the Black experience in America, and the media’s unjust portrayal of Black citizens. In the second half of the song, Rapsody also touches on politics and a brewing revolution over a sample of Common’s “The People” and Mountain’s “Long Red”. Take a listen to “Fire” below, produced by Kash, Khrysis, and 9th Wonder.
