Listen to Oakland Rapper Elujay’s New Funk-Driven Single, “Golden”

Show Love

After making a stellar debut last fall with his soul-infused album, Jentrify, Oakland rapper Elujay returns with a new single by the name of “Golden”. Opting for a more funky sound this time around, the rapper connects with San Francisco producer Julia Lewis, Soulection’s Chris McClenney, and pianist/producer Kev Choice for a warm and feel-good anthem. Incorporating a bit of his Oakland roots with a blend of soul and funk, “Golden” features the up and coming artist revealing his adoration for a woman, whose energy goes hand in hand with his. Elujay also gives listeners a better range of his talents throughout the track, moving in-between vocal performances and rhymes with little to no hesitation. Take a listen to the infectious track below, originally premiered on Beats 1.
