Sampha Releases Long Awaited Debut Album, “Process”

Sampha, the undisputed prince of the piano ballad, has created a classic uniquely his, Process. With vocal overlay reminiscent of a church choir, prominent intermittent percussion and otherworldly synths, listeners are transported to a different planet on Process (away from all the geopolitical nightmares of 2017). Sampha’s voice alone is something to revel in and consider as magnetic. His first full-length highlights his growth and depth as an artist, with no features needed to bring attention to the arresting project. Sampha travels track-to-track, adding and stripping back layers of complexity. He takes his listeners on an emotional, undulating ride, and invites them to share in the process of his own self-discovery. Having recently worked with Solange, Drake, Kanye West and Frank Ocean, the sky is the limit for the multifaceted UK artist.

The aptly named album is out now, so give yourself a treat by streaming the album below or visit iTunes to purchase a digital copy.
