First Look: TJ Bridges’ “Iceberg Slim”

Fresh of the success of last year’s “T.M.B.”, TJ Bridges has shared a smooth and catchy new single, “Iceberg Slim.” Featuring production by Oakland’s Guapdad4000, the track builds on the string of laid-back, sparkling trap-influenced singles the Bay Area native has released over the past few years.

On “Iceberg Slim” we hear Bridges compare himself to the eponymous pimp, reflecting on the trials and tribulations of balancing romance with his budding career. Between versus cataloguing his exploits, the song reaches its peak in its hooks, where Bridges’ effortless flow transitions into a series of impassioned, melodic wails in which he implores his partner to understand his perspective as a player. Take a listen below.
