Sylvan LaCue Releases “Grateful” Video & Announces Upcoming Album

After completing a 25 city tour with Pivot Gang’s Saba, Miami rapper Sylvan LaCue is showing no signs of slowing down. Earlier this week, the Miami artist announced the title of his debut album, Apologies in Advance, due out this Fall. Shortly after, he premiered new visuals for his latest single “Grateful”, which is an introspective track where Lacue raps about his steadfast devotion to staying faithful through the ups and the downs. Following the success of his first single, “Best Me”, it’s clear that LaCue is creating a cohesive project dedicated to self-love and self-improvement.

When it comes to the actual video for the humble track, LaCue and his director Jonathan Benavente keep things simple. With a singular setting atop roofs in Seaside, CA, LaCue shows off some lighthearted dance moves in front of palm trees and pastel skies. With about 1:30 left in the video, the song changes and visuals shift to a beautiful oceanic landscape, finding LaCue silhouetted and facing the water.

Check out the video for “Grateful” below and look out for an official release date for Apologies in Advance.
